Clean your cycle chain and cassette with an Ultrasonic Cleaner.

Cleaning your cycle chain and gears after a day out, either on-road or off-road, is an important part of bike maintenance. Keeping the drivetrain free of abrasive road dirt massively extends the life of these parts and makes for more efficient cycling.

One popular method of deep cleaning is using an Ultrasonic Cleaner. Ultrasonic sound waves get into the parts of your chain and cassette that traditional methods don't reach.

The cleaning process is easy for the user. Put in simple terms, the sound waves from the machine blast road dirt out of the cycle chain links. Place your parts in the tank, along with an ultrasonic cleaning solution, and turn the tank on. Twenty minutes later your chain and gears will be clean.

Customer feedback: "Super quick delivery. I love the clockwork (mechanical)  timer. Cleans components well but tank not quite wide enough to fit in all of a 30 tooth sprocket so you have to turn it round half way through a cycle. Not a deal breaker and I think the 6L size would be better, but a bit big to store easily."

The addition of cleaning suitable solution helps breakdown oil and grease. The cleaning time is around 10 – 15 minutes. The ultrasonic tank used was a 6 Ltr capacity with digital controls for the cleaning time and water temperature. If you measure your particular parts, you might find that only need a small 3 Ltr machine.
