Oxidation & Rust Remover (5 litre)

Oxidation and rust remover (5 ltr). A specialist acidic formulation for adding to ultrasonic cleaning baths to  remove oxidation from metals including iron, copper, tin, aluminium and stainless steel. It is ideal for engine parts including carburettors, valves, heat exchangers etc as well as metals that have been in long term storage. Other applications include oxides resulting from soldering or welding. As well as removing oxides it safely removes contaminants including general soiling, carbon and grease etc. The cleaning process will not damage, corrode or darken most metal components. It is totally biodegradable and phosphate free.

Directions:

The Oxidation & rust remover is a concentrate and added to water at a ratio of 10: (1 parts cleaning fluid to 10 part water). For heavily soiled components, this can be strengthened to 7:1. The working temperature of the ultrasonic cleaner should be set between 50 - 80 degrees centigrade.

Always test before use on new applications. After cleaning rinse all surfaces thoroughly with clean water and dry. The bath should be changed regularly when the solution becomes dirty.
